Empowered Advocacy was founded by Kavi Hutchinson and Jade Butler-Rees with a shared commitment to empowering individuals of determination and their communities. Driven by a deep passion for fostering inclusivity throughout the UAE, they established Empowered Advocacy with a mission to collaborate with others, harnessing collective expertise to eliminate barriers to inclusion and create enhanced opportunities for individuals of determination.
Kavi holds a Bachelor in Health Sciences/Public Health, a Master’s in Occupational Therapy Practice, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Needs Education. With over 15 years of experience in the special needs services industry, Kavi has expertise in supported living, vocational training, home modifications, family support, community program development, and school inclusion services. Originally from the UAE, she completed her post-high school qualifications in Australia and worked there for 9 years before returning to the UAE to continue her impactful work.
Jade is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with 10 years of experience working with individuals of determination and their families across Ireland, Australia, and the UAE. Her extensive experience includes working in schools, nurseries, clinics, and home settings. Jade has collaborated with various businesses in the UAE to develop workplace training programs for young adults of determination, showcasing her dedication to fostering inclusivity.
